On_The_Boards is a StorefrontMB initiative aimed at strengthening our design community through comradery, sharing, discussion and critique of work among peers. Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers and Planners are encouraged to take part. Hosting is voluntary, rotating through professional offices.
Objectives:
Strengthen our design community through camaraderie, discussion and sharing of ideas among peers on a project-to-project basis.
Expose design processes to broaden each others understandings and effectiveness; contribute ideas at a stage where commitments have not yet been made so that projects can improve through discourse and critique.
Inform the community; allow others to interpret the work to those outside the community so the value can become public.
Provide an intimate environment for dialogue; liberate ideas, provide assistance and support to improve the built projects, raise the bar, and help good ideas be realized.
