An original, and official, Little Free Library at 121 Spence Street.

Pulp Fiction was designed by 1×1 Architecture and submitted for the 2013 Little Free Library Design Competition. Robert Shaw is the library steward and a community builder.

The Little Free Library movement seeks to build community and promote the love of reading by encouraging free book exchanges. The premise of “take a book, return a book” with small book shelters has grown to well over 10,000 book exchanges worldwide – including a growing number in Winnipeg. Each registered Little Free Library is overseen by a steward (a member of the community) and are often placed in the steward’s front yard or similar open and accessible location.
